Attica—Barbara D. Davis, 68, Route 4, Attica, died at 2:15 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 29, 1989 in St. Elizabeth Hospital Medical Center, Lafayette. She had been ill for some time and was hospitalized Saturday night.

  She was born Nov. 16, 1920 near Newtown, the daughter of Fern and Marie Emmons Dodge. She was married July 1, 1939 in Williamsport to Edward Wayne Davis, who survives.

  She was a graduate of Attica High School. She formerly lived in Duluth, Minn., but had lived in Attica most of her life and at Route 4 in Warren County since 1965.

  She formerly was bookkeeper at Central National Bank in Attica for 18 years, retiring in 1981.

  She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Attica and Upper Level Senior Citizens. She was a former member of Business and Professional Women and formerly was president of the Band Boosters. She had also worked with the Cub Scouts.
  Surviving besides her husband are a son, Joseph E., Nashville, Ind.; a daughter, Mrs. Gary S. (Linda Lou) Ott, Livermore, Calif.; one brother, Donald C. Dodge, Paducah, Ky.; a half sister, Mrs. Beryl Spear, Gulf Breeze, Calif.; two grandchildren, Julia Davis and Andy Ott, and a step granddaughter, Elizabeth Brooke.

  Friends may call from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. today (Tuesday) at Maus Funeral Home, Attica. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Maus Chapel with the Rev. Kenneth Burris officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Attica. – thanks to S
